Every Recovery Path Is Unique

I’m Lauren Helen, founder of Lauren Helen Cognitive Therapy & Recovery. My virtual practice provides consistent, evidence-based support for individuals struggling with eating disorders, anxiety and emotional distress.

Each recovery path is unique. Recovery is shaped around your individual needs. Some people need guidance with stabilizing routines and food-related behaviours, while others benefit from relational support or family involvement.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutritional Therapy and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology (MSc). This combination allows me to address both psychological patterns and nutritional aspects that can influence recovery. My goal is to provide support that is integrated, practical and human-centred

How I Can Help

Whether you’re struggling with food, anxiety, intrusive thoughts or the impact of difficult life experiences, therapy is tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Digital Practice & Research

As part of my MSc in Clinical Psychology, my research focused on the role of therapist involvement in digital cognitive behavioural therapy (dCBT) for bulimia nervosa. This work has shaped how I integrate digital tools into therapy, combining structured support with the compassion and human connection that are essential for recovery.
